G. Purchase Construction Ltd appointed by Cartrefi Conwy to deliver Welsh Housing Quality Standard Investment Programme

G. Purchase Construction Ltd has been appointed by Cartrefi Conwy to deliver its Welsh Housing Quality Standard Kitchen & Bathroom Refurbishment and Electrical Rewiring Programme. The award, worth approximately £16 Million over 4 years, reinforces G. Purchase Construction Ltd's position as the largest provider of refurbishment services to the social housing sector in North Wales.

Work on the Pilot Scheme has already been successfully completed and the main programme of refurbishment is well underway. Local employment and training are critically important to the successful delivery of this programme and, thus far, over 90 local people have been employed by the Company and its supply chain partners.

Cartrefi Conwy is an Industrial and Provident Society created by Conwy County Council in 2008. The organisation celebrated its first birthday on 29^th September 2009. The organisation manages almost 4,000 properties spread over an area of more than 430 square miles.
