WALSALL HOUSING GROUP

We are presently involved in a number of Strategic Partnering Agreements with Walsall Housing Group. These agreements commenced in March 2003 and were scheduled to conclude in March 2008. We are now working with them on further work until March 2010.

We are currently engaged in providing Capital improvement programmes for three of the five Housing Trusts within Walsall Housing Group: Bloxwich Housing Trust, Central Walsall Housing Trust, and Willenhall Housing Trust.

Bloxwich Housing Trust
We have been appointed as the General Building Works Contractor for the Bloxwich Housing Trust. The works that we undertake comprise the following:

Kitchen & Bathroom Refurbishments,
Bathroom adaptations for disabled people,
Catch-up Repairs,
Environmental Improvements,
The arrangement and management of asbestos removal works,
Demolition Works.

Central Walsall Housing Trust
We have been appointed as the Central Heating Contractor for the Central Walsall Housing Trust. The works we undertake comprise the following:

Installation of new Gas Central Heating Installations,
Upgrading existing Gas Central Heating Installations to comply with Part ‘L’ of the Building Regulations,
Installing Cavity Wall Insulation,
Upgrading Loft Insulation,
The arrangement and management of asbestos removal works.

Willenhall Housing Trust
We have been appointed as the Central Heating Contractor for the Willenhall Housing Trust. The works we undertake comprise the following:

Installation of new Gas Central Heating Installations,
Upgrading existing Gas Central Heating Installations to comply with Part ‘L’ of the Building Regulations,
Installing Cavity Wall Insulation,
Upgrading Loft Insulation,
The arrangement and management of asbestos removal works.

Gas Servicing Works
In addition to the Capital Improvement Works currently undertaken we have been appointed by Walsall Housing Group to undertake Gas Servicing and Repairs to properties in a number of Trust Areas. In the year 2004/2005 this equated to approximately 7,000 services.

Void & Responsive Maintenance Works
In July 2005 we were appointed by Walsall Housing Group to undertake Void Refurbishment works and provide a Responsive Repairs and Maintenance Service across all five Trust areas. This contract is due to run for a three year period with a potential extension of a further two years.
